Chorazin

Chorazin (also known as Korazim) is an ancient Jewish town on the northwestern hills overlooking the Sea of Galilee. Chorazin is a large archaeological site divided into five quarters, including the town square, living quarters, agricultural buildings (wheat threshing and olive presses), and the Jewish synagogue. Chorazin (Korazim) is mentioned in the New Testament Gospels and Babylonian Talmud.

Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! If the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes (Matthew 11:21).

The Jewish rabbi teaching in the synagogue would sit in a place of honor known as the Moses Seat. Among other tremendous artifacts, Chorazin is known for its fully intact Moses Seat dating to the first century. It’s quite possible that Jesus of Nazareth sat in this Moses Seat when teaching at Chorazin (Korazim).
Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: "The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. (Matthew 23:1-3)
